This way, students improve themselves and transform the knowledge they have gained in the courses into projects. Our students prepared special campaigns for Karşıyaka Municipality within the scope of the lecture given by me and Cem İlhan, the Head of Tribeca Communication Consultancy. Solid waste recycling; is very important for the nature, our future and our health. Students, especially by drawing attention to this issue, prepared effective studies. They focused on raising awareness among high school and primary school students”.
STUDIES WILL CONTINUE
Providing information about the projects, Asst. Prof. Aksoy said, “The first of the projects submitted to Karşıyaka Municipality is for high school students and aims to ensure that young people take an active role in a sustainable world. The focus of the project is to organize a tournament called "Know, Sort, Win" among the high schools in Karşıyaka between June and October. Another project is for elementary school students. In the project titled 'Make the Wastes Your Hero', it is aimed that students design toys from domestic waste and display them. From now on, we will continue to develop projects with our students that bring solutions to the problems we experience as a society with different perspectives.”
WE SHOULD LISTEN TO YOUTH CAREFULLY
